The Farts

The Farts are a punkrockband from the Netherlands. Our main goal with the band is to have as much fun as possible. We are not a political band although we have a lot of lyrics which deal with problems our modern society faces. Like Guilty of MassMurder: a song against the hunt on wild animals. Or Matador: against the bullfights in Spain. Fucking Bastards and fucking Cops is a song about nazi-scum that beat one of our bandmembers in the hospital. No Control goes about politicians wich lie and lie all of the time.

The Farts are infuenced by the old punkbands like The Exploited, Chaos UK and Discharge but we don't copy there sound. We have our own. We don't see punk as a way of living, we see it as a way of thinking. We are making punk to get rid of all the frustration we face on a daily basis. And what's even more important is that we are making punk to enjoy ourselves and to be with friends.

We like to play abroad so if you can arange a gig for us (better make it a few) were willing to come. Don't hesistate to contact us.
